FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that reportedly happened Sunday at a convenience store near Fort Walton Beach.

According to an announcement by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the robbery occurred at the AOC Food Mart at 306 Racetrack Road just before 5 p.m. on August 14.

The store clerk reportedly told deputies that a white male with a short beard, carrying a lunch box, presented him a note demanding money.  The man left immediately after, according to the report. The amount of money allegedly taken was not disclosed.

The clerk was not injured, the OCSO said.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the OCSO at 850-651-7400 or contact Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers.
