EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – State Road 285 will close for test missions on several days this week beginning on Tuesday, Eglin Air Force Base (EAFB) has announced.
According to EAFB, the 96th Test Wing will conduct testing on the Eglin range complex requiring the road’s closure.
Testing will take place from Feb. 7-10, 2023, Eglin said in its announcement that the road will be closed between the scheduled times on the following dates:
- Feb. 7 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Feb. 8 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Feb. 9 between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
- Feb. 10 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The road will not be closed for more than 90 minutes at a time. Note the road may be closed for several periods within the time frame, EAFB said.
