OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. – With spring break activity entering its third week in Okaloosa and Walton counties, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and Walton County Sheriff’s Office combined have issued 268 citations for underage possession of alcohol, according to announcements today from each of the agencies.

Both law enforcement agencies have a zero-tolerance policy for underage possession of alcohol.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is reporting it has issued 250 notices to appear for underage possession of alcohol.

As part of its public safety mission, we have always had a zero-tolerance for underage possession of alcohol – and already in the first two weeks of Spring Break deputies have issued 250 notices to appear before a judge,” said the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
