DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. – Main Street DeFuniak Springs will host “Porsches and Princesses” on Saturday, April 9, in Downtown DeFuniak Springs.
A car show and character meet and greet, Porsches and Princesses is produced in partnership with the North Florida Region Porsche Club of America and sponsored by Clary-Glenn Funeral Homes.
The event is free to attend. Hours are 10a.m. to 12p.m.
It is a fundraiser for the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC). Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring items from the ECCAC’s current and ongoing needs lists, detailed below.
Taking place outdoors on Baldwin Avenue, north of the City of DeFuniak Springs’ historic train depot and caboose, Porsches and Princesses will offer something for everyone in the family.
North Florida Region Porsche Club of America members will line the north and south sides of a block of Baldwin Avenue with a variety of new and vintage Porsches. Not to be outdone, attendees can pose for photo-ops among the automobiles with a variety of classic and modern princesses and fairytale characters.

The event takes place in tandem with Main Street DeFuniak Springs’ Saturday Farmer’s Market, occurring one block west from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center is a not-for-profit agency that protects and treats child abuse victims and their families.
Needed are monetary donations, Walmart gift cards, diaper cream, diapers (sizes 4, 5, and 6), boys and girls pull-ups (sizes 3T, 4T, and 5T), boys’ and girls’ deodorant, travel hairbrushes, and small toiletry bags.
The ECCAC is also accepting new or gently used clothing for boys (sizes 12mo to 8), boys’ and girls’ infant and toddler socks, and sports bras (all sizes).
