Captain Fulghum was one of 15 senior criminal justice executives from different agencies across Florida who completed the program.

The seminar, conducted in three intensive sessions at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, covered vital topics such as crisis communication, critical thinking, proactive leadership, organizational management, resilience, emotional intelligence, and servant leadership.

The Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute, which administers the seminar, was established in 1990 by the Florida Legislature and operates under the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in partnership with the State University System of Florida.

The institute provides advanced training and education to meet the evolving needs of the criminal justice field.

Other graduates of the program include leaders from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Miami-Dade Police Department, Broward Sheriff’s Office, and several other agencies across the state.
