(Niceville, FL) – Niceville-Valparaiso Little League Baseball & Softball is holding on-site registration for 4-12 year-olds on Saturday, January 10, 2015, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Edge Elementary School in Niceville.
The Saturday registration is the first and final on-site registration for 4-12 year-old players. Edge Elementary School is located at 300 Highway 85 North.
Players registering after Jan. 10 will be charged a $25 late fee in addition to the registration fee.
Online registration also is available.
The cost per player for 2015 is as follows:
BASEBALL (open to boys and girls)
4-6 years – $80
7-8 years – $90
9-12 years – $100
SOFTBALL (Girls only)
4-6 years – $80
7-9 years – $90
10-12 years – $100
Evaluations for baseball players will be held Jan. 16; evaluations for softball players will be held Jan. 24. Evaluations will be conducted by age group. They will be held at the Niceville Recreation Complex located on Campbell Drive.
Pre-season practice begins February 9 for 9-12 year-old baseball players. Practice begins Feb. 16 for 4-8 year-old baseball players and all softball players. Opening day is March 7 at Twin Oaks, located at State Road 85 North and College Boulevard.
On-site registration will take place in April for teen-aged baseball and softball players.
