NICEVILLE, Fla. — Salt & Story will celebrate its first anniversary with a family-friendly Sip & Shop event on Saturday, March 28, inviting the community to mark a year of books, connection, and local support.
The celebration will include kids’ story time, popsicles, coloring activities, special discounts, gifts with purchase, and giveaways throughout the day.
Salt & Story, located at 1103-B E John Sims Parkway, was recently named New Business of the Year by the Niceville Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce, in recognition of its impact as a growing community gathering space in the Niceville area.
The locally owned bookstore was founded with the goal of creating more than just a retail space, offering a welcoming environment where residents can gather, relax, and discover new books and gifts.

The shop regularly hosts community-focused events such as story times, book clubs, creative workshops, and author meet-and-greets designed to bring people together and encourage a love of reading.
