NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health on Tuesday reported 13 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County. There are two new cases in Niceville and Valparaiso.
The FDOH reports 167 vaccinations were administered in Okaloosa County the previous day. The cumulative number of people vaccinated in Okaloosa is 63,157. The number of people who have completed the vaccination series in Okaloosa is 51,100, according to FDOH data.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa is 20,622.
The FDOH reports the total number of people killed by COVID-19 in Okaloosa is 363, no change since the previous report.
Statewide, 3.263 new cases were reported by the FDOH. The current cumulative total is 2,275,365 The total number of Florida residents who have died from COVID-19 in the state is 35,831.
The cumulative number of hospitalizations in Okaloosa is 742, two more since the previous day. Currently, there are 13 COVID-19 patients in Okaloosa County hospitals.
