David Johnson, 38, was arrested Wednesday following an alleged altercation with the victim, with whom he reportedly lives in a vehicle at a Wilderness Landing Road campground.

The victim told deputies that Johnson grabbed her by the mouth during an argument, allegedly causing her teeth to cut her lip. She said he then reportedly grabbed her head and shook it.

According to the OCSO, shortly afterward, deputies located Mr Johnson near the vehicle. Upon seeing law enforcement, he reportedly fled into the woods, refusing to surrender.
