NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 262, nine more since yesterday morning. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Niceville is 30.
The number of hospitalizations related to coronavirus in Okaloosa is 42, no change since yesterday.

The number of deaths in Okaloosa County remains unchanged at six.
Since the beginning of May, the number of people going to emergency rooms in Okaloosa County with COVID-19-like symptoms has more than tripled from six per week to 19 per week. Statewide, the number of people going to emergency rooms with COVID-19-like symptoms has gone down by one-third.
