NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 312, 18 more since yesterday morning. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Niceville is 35.
The state recorded its highest number of cases to date with 1902 new cases since yesterday morning.
Of Okaloosa County’s 312 confirmed-positive cases, 25% were admitted to the ER and 14% had in-patient hospital admissions on file, according to the Florida’s Community COVID-19 Dashboard
Of all the COVID-19 positive people in Okaloosa County who were hospitalized, 13% died.
Of the 312 people with COVID-19 in Okaloosa since March 1, 109 have recovered.
The median age of all cases in Okaloosa is 46, and the age range of all positive people is 0 to 96.

The number of hospitalizations related to coronavirus in Okaloosa is 44, no change over the past 24 hours.
