“Hair Raising History” exhibit and reception coming to Museum

“Hair Raising History,” an exhibit produced and displayed by Cat Nolan, features artifacts and information about the crazy ways women used to blow-dry and curl their hair.  See vintage curling irons, personal blow dryers, washing chairs and of course the popular permanent wave machine.

The public is invited to join members of the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida on Nov. 9 at the opening reception for its newest exhibit, “Hair Raising History.”

“Hair Raising History,” an exhibit produced and displayed by Cat Nolan, features artifacts and information about the crazy ways women used to blow-dry and curl their hair.  See vintage curling irons, personal blow dryers, washing chairs and of course the popular permanent wave machine.

The opening reception is November 9, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The cost is $10 per guest. Admission is free to Museum Members.

The exhibit opening reception will include a ribbon cutting, exhibit lecture, complimentary tours, socializing and refreshments with beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee and door prizes.
