Oktoberfest returns to Niceville Sept. 26–27 with food, music, and beer

NICEVILLE, Fla. — Oktoberfest is back in Niceville on Sept. 26–27, hosted by the Mid-Bay Bridge Rotary Club at Merchants Walk on State Highway 20.

The 2025 Mid-Bay Bridge Rotary Club Oktoberfest is set to feature food, beer, vendors, kids’ activities, and live music throughout the weekend. Bratwurst, sauerkraut, chicken, hot dogs, pretzels, German beer, wine, and sodas will be available, along with more than 30 vendors offering food, arts, and crafts.

The festivities take place in the parking lot near the Winn-Dixie store at 4512 E. State Highway 20, Niceville, 32578.

Children will enjoy a giant slide, bounce house, and other inflatables, while balloon artist Mickey Cameron provides entertainment both days.

The music lineup begins Friday with Gary Schmitz from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by accordionist Walter Kasprzyk, and the Edelweiss German Band closing the night from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

On Saturday, the Emerald Coast Community Band will perform from noon to 2 p.m., followed by Jody Lucas, Mr Schmitz, Mr Kasprzyk, and multiple sets by the Edelweiss German Band.

The event runs Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free, but food, beer, and kids’ activities are cash only.

  • 4:30–6:30 p.m. Balloons by Mickey Cameron (grounds)
  • 5–6:30 p.m. Gary Schmitz (stage)

  • 8–10 p.m. Edelweiss German Band (stage)

Saturday, Sept. 27

  • 12–2 p.m. Emerald Coast Community Band (stage)
  • 2–2:30 p.m. German music over PA system
  • 2:30–4 p.m. Jody Lucas (stage)
