CRESTVIEW, Fla. — A 22-year-old Crestview man reported his vehicle was struck by gunfire five times while he was driving north on State Road 85 near the Shoal River Bridge around 2:30 a.m. on February 12, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) announced.
The OCSO said the driver told deputies he was heading toward Crestview when the shots were fired.
No injuries were reported.
According to the OCSO, the driver said he ducked down when the gunfire began and did not see the other vehicle. He also told deputies he has no issues with anyone and has no knowledge of who may be responsible.
Deputies searched the area but reportedly did not locate any shell casings.
