WALTON COUNTY, Fla. — A Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) search warrant executed in Freeport has led to the arrest of three individuals now facing multiple felony drug charges after law enforcement reportedly discovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, firearms, and cash during the operation.
On August 8, the WCSO VICE/Narcotics Unit, in partnership with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, searched the residence of Adam Hill, 46, located at 532 Piney Point Road. The search was part of a joint investigation targeting Hill.
During the search, authorities reportedly found methamphetamine throughout the house, along with $5,062 in cash, two handguns, ammunition, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. The paraphernalia included scales, concealment items, a money counter, and pipes.
Mr Hill, who was already out on bond for burglary and theft charges, was arrested alongside Audrey Whitehead, 41, a resident of the home. Additionally, a suitcase belonging to William Leary, 47, was found the reportedly contained fentanyl and needles, leading to his arrest.
Hill has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of weapons and ammunition by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms Whitehead faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, while Mr Leary is charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both Leary and Whitehead were issued a $10,000 bond, while Hill was denied bond.
