WALTON COUNTY, Fla. — Eglin Federal Credit Union has been named the 2023 Large Business of the Year by the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Large Business of the Year award recognizes an organization/industry that demonstrates genuine partnership by working with other businesses, nonprofits, and area agencies to identify issues and develop sustainable programs and initiatives that impact our community.
The award was announced at the annual Chamber Awards Gala hosted this year by the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa on February 9, 2024.

In February, EFCU was also named the Best Credit Union in Destin. Other awards the credit union has won for 2023 include Finest on the Emerald Coast (2023 Credit Union, Mortgage Lending Company, Best Place to Work); 2023 Best Credit Union by Emerald Coast Magazine; and Community Partner of the Year for 2023 by Hurlburt Field Air and Space Force Association Chapter 398.
