FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Eglin Federal Credit Union (Eglin FCU) has officially opened its new Operations Center at 340 Beal Parkway NW, a four-story, 100,000-square-foot facility designed to support continued growth and improve service capabilities.
Eglin FCU hosted a grand opening celebration at the site on May 22, welcoming board members, volunteers, team members, and partners who played a role in the project’s completion.
During the event, President/CEO Cathie Staton said the new facility reflects Eglin FCU’s values and forward-looking mindset.
“This Operations Center is a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence,” said Ms Staton.
“We believe that a well-designed space can inspire creativity and productivity, and we are thrilled to offer our employees a dynamic and inviting atmosphere that reflects our corporate values.”
The Operations Center includes an attached parking garage and was built to accommodate up to 400 employees. It features energy-efficient windows, geothermal wells, EV charging stations, and flexible workspaces designed to encourage collaboration and comfort.
The building also includes a high-tech training center, expanded call center with chat and text support, a growing Video Teller team, and several operational departments including loan services, mortgage, collections, IT, and indirect lending. The center is also designed to serve as a disaster recovery site if needed.
Ms Staton thanked those who helped bring the project to life, including board members, volunteers, President Emeritus Jerry Williams, former COO Kenny Girot, and staff such as SVP/CTO Tim Farnsworth, SVP/CIO Rocky Magee, SVP/COO Kim Nauta, and Facilities Manager/Security Officer Alan Campbell. She also praised the La Macchia Group for their design and construction efforts.

According to Eglin FCU, the new Operations Center supports Eglin FCU’s broader expansion into Walton, Santa Rosa, and Escambia counties in Florida and Alabama and enhances the organization’s ability to meet digital service demands.
