Cornhole Tournament to benefit Traveling Eagles baseball [POSTPONED]

The Cornhole Tournament is Saturday, March 25, beginning at 4 p.m., at the Horseshoe Pits at the Twin Oaks Complex, State Road 85 North at College Boulevard.

Note: This event has been postponed until March 31.

A Cornhole Tournament will be held in Niceville this weekend to benefit the Niceville Association of Youth Baseball Traveling Eagles Spring 2017 age groups. The public is invited to take part in the tournament and associated activities.

The Cornhole Tournament is Saturday, March 25, beginning at 4 p.m., at the Horseshoe Pits at the Twin Oaks Complex, State Road 85 North at College Boulevard.

In addition to the tournament, there will be a raffle, music and food truck.

Cornhole, also known as Tailgate, bean bag toss, doghouse, or simply Bags, is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing bags of corn at a raised platform with a hole in the far end.

The cost to enter is $50 per team (day of the event). The cost is $40 for Early Registration (by March 24). There are two players per team. Teams must enter either the novice or expert division.

There will be cash prizes for first and second place finishers. Prizes are $100 for first place and $50 for second place.

There is a two-game minimum. Foul lines are 28 feet for adults and 21 feet for children aged nine years and under. Brackets will be drawn before play.
