FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — A student at Choctawhatchee High School reportedly threatened a classmate with a pocketknife, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has announced.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), a 15-year-old boy was taken into custody on Monday after another student reported he threatened her both verbally and with a pocketknife.

The OCSO said it has charged the teen with possession of a weapon on school property and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.

The victim said the boy told her he should kill her, “but it’s stupid,” and then is alleged to have pulled a pocketknife out of his waistband, opened it, and waved it under the table.
