FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Eglin Federal Credit Union has announced that Erica Hennion has received the credit union’s Five-Star Performer Award for the first quarter of 2026.

Ms Hennion, who lives in Mary Esther, has worked for Eglin FCU since January 2023 and currently serves as an Account Services Representative II. The quarterly recognition program honors employees who demonstrate the organization’s core values: respectful, trustworthy, dedicated, proactive, and engaged.
Coworkers nominated Ms Hennion for the award and described her as “the heart of Account Services,” according to the credit union. Team members praised her knowledge, reliability, and positive attitude, as well as her willingness to support coworkers and guide members through complex situations.
Eglin FCU said Ms Hennion is known for anticipating members’ needs, paying close attention to detail, and helping foster a collaborative workplace environment. The organization also credited her with helping coordinate team celebrations and encouraging stronger connections among coworkers.

“While Erica excels at serving members on the phone every day, her impact reaches far beyond outstanding customer service,” said Account Services Manager Adam Dudney.
“She brings people together, strengthens our department, and consistently uplifts those around her. We are incredibly grateful for the leadership and positivity she brings to our team.”
Account Services Supervisor Connie Brown also praised Ms Hennion’s contributions to the department and its members.
“Erica’s dedication to both our members and her teammates truly sets her apart,” said Ms Brown.
“She leads by example, steps up without hesitation, and makes a meaningful difference every day. When our team thrives, our members benefit, and Erica plays a vital role in that success.”

Ms Hennion began her career with the credit union on Jan. 17, 2023, as an Account Services Representative I before being promoted to Account Services Representative II in April 2025.
Reflecting on the recognition, Ms Hennion thanked her coworkers and credited the organization’s culture of teamwork and collaboration.
“I’m incredibly grateful to work alongside such talented and supportive teammates who are always willing to help, share ideas and lift one another up,” said Ms Hennion.
