Admission is free to the annual traditional Christmas festival sponsored by the Heritage Museum.

The special Holiday event features musical performances by local choirs and musicians, dancers, craft and food vendors, and craft demonstrations. Enjoy letters to Santa, a bake sale, and more family fun.

The Walton Guard, a local Civil War re-enactors group, will feature a historic Christmastime encampment in Perrine Park.

The museum will be open with free admission all day long, where the rich history of Northwest Florida is on display.  Enjoy exhibits that feature the area’s first inhabitants and early industries such as fishing, boat building, turpentine production, and pioneer living.

The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida is at 115 Westview Ave. in Valparaiso.
