WALTON COUNTY, Fla. — Drivers will encounter traffic disruptions on the following state roads in Walton County this week as crews perform construction and maintenance activities, the Florida Department of Transportation has announced.

— U.S. 331, Intersection Improvements from South of I-10 to U.S. 90
Drivers may encounter intermittent U.S. 331 lane closures at the following locations and times:
- U.S. 331 northbound inside lane closure, from Coy Burgess Road to Business Park Road, Sunday, Aug. 18 through Thursday, Aug. 22, between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. for turn-lane construction
- U.S. 331 northbound outside travel lane and right-turn lane, Between Corbett Drive and Walton Plaza business access road, Monday, Aug. 19 through Friday, Aug. 23, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. for manhole adjustments. Drivers may encounter intermittent lane closures Sunday, Aug 18 and Monday, Aug. 19 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for traffic signal operations.
All activities are weather-dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through a work zone and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
