This comprehensive advisory compiles FDOT’s latest updates for Bay, Walton, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Escambia counties, ensuring you have the most up-to-date information before you hit the road.
BAY COUNTY:
— U.S. 98 west of Tyndall Drive-Airey Avenue to east of Louisiana Avenue
U.S. 98 drivers may encounter intermittent lane closures between Tyndall Drive- Airey Avenue and Louisiana Avenue through the end of July.
— U.S. 98 Widening from Mandy Lane to east of Nautilus Street
Drivers may encounter intermittent, alternating single-lane closures for the following operations:
- Gulf Boulevard will be under construction for drainage installation from Monday, June 10, through Friday, June 14. Drivers will have two access lanes but should exercise caution while driving through the construction zone
- Nautilus Cove Apartments/U.S. 98 Intersection – The turnout at Nautilus Cove Apartments will be partially closed for drainage installation from Monday, June 10, through Wednesday, June 12. Drivers should use the entrance on Nautilus Street for access to the apartment complex

Drivers may encounter intermittent, alternating lane closures, Sunday, June 9 through Thursday, June 13, from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for signalization work and for crews to place thermoplastic striping at the following locations:
- U.S. 98 between Mack Bayou Road and County Road 30A
- Mack Bayou Road between U.S. 98 and Mack Bayou Loop
- Goldsby Road between U.S. 98 and Commercial Parkway
OKALOOSA COUNTY:

— U.S. 98 Resurfacing from Josie Road to Florida Place Southeast
Drivers may encounter intermittent U.S. 98 lane closures between Josie Road in Mary Esther and Florida Place Southeast in Fort Walton Beach from Sunday, June 9, through Thursday, June 13, between 8 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. for concrete work, milling, and paving operations.
SANTA ROSA COUNTY
— U.S. 98 Widening from Bayshore Road to Portside Drive
Motorists will encounter the following traffic impacts:
- Median and turn-lane closures from Bayshore Road to Tiger Lake Drive
- Intermittent lane closures and additional median closures between Bayshore Road and Tiger Lake Drive Sunday, June 9, through Friday, June 14, from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for stormwater drainage improvements and paving operations
ESCAMBIA COUNTY
