EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — As part of their ongoing training regimen, the 60th Fighter Squadron is scheduled to execute night flying operations from March 11 to March 13, Eglin Air Force Base (EAFB) has announced.
The training exercises will occur from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each night.
People living near EAFB should anticipate increased aircraft activity, which will result in elevated noise levels in the area often called “The Sound of Freedom” by residents.
These night flying training operations are essential for ensuring the readiness and proficiency of the 60th Fighter Squadron in handling nighttime flying conditions.
