NICEVILLE, Fla. — Rev up your engines and buckle up for Big Truck Day on Saturday, April 20, from 10 am to 1 pm, hosted by the City of Niceville.
If you or your family have ever wanted to get up close and personal with the heavy-duty heroes of our city streets, this is your chance. From garbage trucks to fire engines, street sweepers to more, there’s a big rig for everyone to explore.
The event will be held in the softball complex’s parking lot, which is located at the rear of the municipal complex.
Big Truck Day is a family event suitable for all ages, so bring the whole crew along for the ride. Plus, the City is providing refreshments on deck to keep you fueled.
From 10 am to 11 am, there is a special sensory-friendly hour, during which the lights won’t dazzle and the sirens won’t blare. This is a thoughtful opportunity for the little ones to get hands-on with the trucks without any sensory overload.
The softball complex is at 200 Campbell Drive. The municipal complex is at 208 Partin Drive North.
