Local update on statewide pre-registration for COVID-19 vaccination

Niceville.comFebruary 3, 2021Updated:February 3, 20212 Mins Read

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla.— The State has launched a statewide pre-registration for COVID-19 vaccines available at https://myvaccine.fl.gov/.

Those currently eligible for the vaccine may also call 866-200-3599 or TTY 833-990-3450.

The Florida Department of Health is working with the Florida Department of Emergency Management to facilitate a mechanism to confidentially share the names and information of those who have pre-registered with the county health departments. Once that mechanism is established, DOH-Okaloosa will use this list to fill first dose appointments before opening up any remaining slots to eligible individuals for either Eventbrite online or call-in registration. It may take a couple of weeks to work out this process.

DOH-Okaloosa reports it will let the community know when it is ready to implement this option.

However, individuals may choose to use the state vaccine website to get on a waiting list for DOH-Okaloosa vaccination appointments. Calling the above phone numbers or signing up through the website does not put you on a waiting list for COVID-19 vaccinations delivered by Publix.
