Sheriff’s Office seeks public’s help in Fort Walton Beach area gunfire incidents

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) is investigating two reports of shots fired at two separate locations within about a 12-minute time frame Monday afternoon.

There were no initial indications of any injuries, according to the OCSO.

One report of gunfire on Shirley Drive off Lovejoy Road took place around 1:30 p.m.

A home and vehicles were reportedly hit with bullets and multiple casings were found in the roadway.

Another report of multiple shots fired came in around 1:40 p.m. on Miller Street in the Racetrack Road area.

Again, deputies located multiple casings in the street.
