Saturday in the Park set for Sept. 12

VALPARAISO, Fla — The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida invites the community to its 2020 Saturday in the Park festival on Saturday, September 12, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Heritage Museum and Perrine Park in Valparaiso. Postponed from this past spring, this year’s annual event marks its 44th year.

Saturday in the Park 2020 will feature local food and craft vendors, local car clubs, activities for kids, a fish fry, parades, and live entertainment.

The event is free to attend.

A Patriotic Dog Parade and Judging begin at 10:30 a.m. and the Children’s Patriotic Parade is at 11:30 a.m.  The entry fee for each parade is $15 for non-museum members and $10 for members.

Social distancing will be in effect during the event and people in attendance will be strongly encouraged to wear masks. Sanitizing and hand-cleaning stations will be available.

The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida is at 115 Westview Ave. in Valparaiso.
