Military Family Appreciation Day set Nov. 1 at The Landing in Fort Walton

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee will host the 2025 Military Family Appreciation Day, presented by Eglin Federal Credit Union, on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at The Landing Park.

The free, family-friendly event will feature live entertainment, children’s activities, and booths from military and veteran service organizations. Organizers said the celebration provides a day of connection and appreciation for the region’s military community.

“Military Family Appreciation Day is one of our community’s most heartfelt traditions,” said Rachelle Graves, director of special events for the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce.

“It brings residents, businesses, and visitors together to recognize the strength and sacrifice of military families and veterans who do so much for our area.”

Vendors and sponsors are invited to participate. Those interested in sponsorships, vendor opportunities, or volunteering may contact Ms Graves at rachellegraves@fwbchamber.org.

The Landing Park is located at 139 Brooks Street SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548.
