NICEVILLE, Fla. — Ruckel Middle School continues to be recognized as one of Florida’s top-performing schools after earning an “A” grade for the 2024–25 school year, marking its 23rd consecutive “A” and 24th overall.
The achievement was celebrated with the presentation of the school’s A+ Plaque by Superintendent of Schools Marcus Chambers and School Board Member Brett Hinely. They joined Principal Mr Jannazo and Ruckel faculty to recognize the school’s long-standing tradition of excellence.
“In Okaloosa County, we add a ‘+’ to our ‘A’ because our schools go above and beyond in Academics, the Arts, and Athletics, and Ruckel is a shining example,” said Mr Chambers.
Ruckel Middle was also named a Florida School of Excellence, an honor awarded to schools whose students perform in the top 20 percent statewide. The recognition reflects the combined efforts of students, teachers, staff, and families who continue to uphold the school’s high standards.
“Congratulations to the students, staff, and families of Ruckel Middle School,” said Mr Chambers.
“Your legacy of excellence continues to shine.”
