NICEVILLE, Fla. — Both the boys’ and girls’ cross country teams from Ruckel Middle School have been crowned county champions following standout performances at the 2025 Okaloosa County Middle School Athletic Conference (MSAC) Championship.
The meet, held October 15 at the Twin Oaks Complex in Niceville, brought together middle school teams from across Okaloosa County for a day of competition that showcased athleticism, teamwork, and school spirit.
Ruckel’s dual victories capped a strong season for the Rams and reinforced the school’s reputation for excellence in athletics.

Coaches Langston and Morrison led the Rams to their titles, with runner Christopher Dinan earning the individual top spot in the boys’ division. “LET’S GO RAMS!” read a post from the school’s social media page celebrating the wins and congratulating all runners for their hard work and dedication.
Assistant Superintendent John Spolski and MSAC President Joe Jannazo were on hand to recognize the achievements of all teams and honor the top 10 finishers in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions. Mr Spolski said the event reflected the district’s commitment to student athletics and character development.
“This event is a celebration of hard work and perseverance,” said Mr Spolski.
“We’re proud of every student-athlete who competed and represented their schools with pride.”
The championship marked the conclusion of another successful cross country season for Okaloosa County’s middle schools. Congratulations to Ruckel Middle School and all participating runners for their accomplishments on and off the course.
