A detective assigned to the Okaloosa County Drug Task Force, with assistance from investigators with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Section, carried out the warrant at 111 Kiwi Place on November 13 at approximately 8:30 a.m., according to the department.

Investigators reportedly completed a lengthy investigation before the operation. The agency said the investigation showed that individuals at the residence were distributing dangerous narcotics. The case remains ongoing.

The Okaloosa County Regional Special Response Team secured the scene before detectives executed the lawful search warrant. Investigators located and seized several items said to have been found inside the residence.

The Fort Walton Beach Police Department stated it appreciates the continued support of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office in efforts to keep the community safe.
