The Niceville Zaxby’s is at 1160 John Sims Parkway E., adjacent to Po Folks Restaurant. It is owned by Steve Hay, owner and operator of Zaxby’s in both Fort Walton Beach and Crestview.
Zaxby’s Chicken Fingers and Buffalo Wings, now under construction in the Oak Creek Shopping Center in Niceville, will soon be open for business.
“We’re looking to open at the end of August if all goes as planned,” said a spokesperson for the local Zaxby’s. The original opening date was projected to be late July.

According to its website, Zaxby’s serves up “delicious chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches and salads in a fun, offbeat atmosphere where you can be yourself.”
The company operates more than 900 locations in 15 states, primarily in the Southern United States. The original Zaxby’s was opened in Statesboro, Georgia in 1990. Zaxby’s now has locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.
Zaxby’s website lists its most popular meals to include its Chicken Finger Plate, Traditional Wings & Things, Boneless Wings & Things, Buffalo Big Zax Snak Meal, Traditional Wings Meal, Big Zax Snak Meal, and the Boneless Wings Meal.
