NICEVILLE, Fla. — A traffic stop for faulty equipment on a pickup truck Tuesday evening led to two arrests and the confiscation of baggies of cocaine and methamphetamine, according to a report by Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.

After the stop on John Sims Parkway near Niceville by an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputy, an OCSO K9 alerted to the presence of the odor of narcotics coming from the truck.

A baggie of cocaine and a baggie of methamphetamine were found in the center console, according to the report.

The driver, Michael Bratton, 41, of Defuniak Springs, and the passenger, Robert Coltman, 52, of Valparaiso, are charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and trafficking in methamphetamine.
