Golf tournament to benefit Niceville students, teachers

Proceeds will be presented to Edge and Plew Elementary School teachers at this year’s National Night Out on August 7 for the purchase of classroom supplies and student necessities.

The Niceville Police Department is seeking players and sponsors for its inaugural Charity Golf Tournament benefitting Niceville elementary school students and teachers.

The golf tournament is July 27, 8 a.m. shotgun start, at Bluewater Bay Resort.

Four-person team registration is $260. Sponsorship opportunities include Hole Signs ($100), Bronze ($250), Silver ($500) and Gold ($750). The registration fee includes green fees, cart, use of driving range, lunch, on-course refreshments, and the opportunity to win contests and prizes.

Prizes to be awarded include first-, second- and third-place teams, hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to the pin.

Proceeds will be presented to Edge Elementary School and Plew Elementary School teachers at this year’s National Night Out on August 7 for the purchase of classroom supplies and student necessities.

The tournament is limited to the first 20 teams to register.
