The district recognized outstanding Education Staff Professionals from campuses across Okaloosa County, highlighting the essential contributions of bus drivers, custodians, secretaries, and support staff who help schools operate each day.

This year’s finalists included Ms Hardin of Northwood Elementary School, Gretchen Levinson of Meigs Middle School, and Starla Lucas of Mary Esther Elementary School.

Superintendent Marcus Chambers congratulated the honorees and praised the role Education Staff Professionals play in student success.

“You make up the foundation of what we do every single day for kids. What you contribute to our schools is amazing, and it’s a huge deal,” Mr Chambers said.

“We couldn’t do what we do without you, and today we honor your dedication, commitment, and heart for students.”
