Members of the Kiwanis Club of Niceville-Valparaiso donated their time, talents and hard work during a recent workday to help make The Children in Crisis Neighborhood look great for the Annual CIC Open House. The work group included Kiwanis members and members from the Niceville Key Club. The volunteers completed normal grounds maintenance and a variety of other tasks.
Several times each year the Niceville Kiwanis sponsors a work day on Saturday mornings. Their efforts help to ensure that CIC is able to continue to provide the best homes possible for the at-risk children of our community.
Ken Hair, CIC President & CEO commented, “The Niceville-Valparaiso Kiwanis Club has a wonderful membership that’s always ready and willing to roll up their sleeves and support a worthy cause… It’s all about the kids!”
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Their mission is serving the children of the world, which by all accounts is a very rewarding experience.
