Niceville High dance team earns first place award in state competition

Niceville High dance team

In a state competition held in Alabama, the Niceville High School Dance Team placed first in the Varsity Out-of-State Jazz division.

The Niceville High School Dance Team recently competed at the Alabama Dance Championship in the Out of State Jazz and Out of State Hip Hop Divisions.  The competition was held in Birmingham, Alabama, at Spain Park High School.

“We competed against teams from multiple states across the southeast,” said Coach Brooke James.  “We placed 1st in the Varsity Out of State Jazz Division and 4th in the Varsity Out-of-State Hip Hop Division.  The Dance Team works very hard to represent Niceville High School and Okaloosa County in the best manner possible.”
