“The Fireworks Trust Fund is thrilled to announce that the annual 4th of July Fireworks Show over Boggy Bayou will be fully funded by donations from the community for another year,” the trust fund said in an announcement.

“This cherished tradition has been a staple in the Niceville‐Valparaiso area for many years, and the Fireworks Trust Fund is proud to continue to support it through the generosity of local businesses and community members.”

In addition, the trust fund is also holding a 50/50 drawing. The suggested donation for the drawing is $5 for each ticket or 5 tickets for $20. Half of the proceeds from the drawing will go to the winner, and the other half will go to the trust fund. The drawing will be held on Friday, June 30, at the Mullet Festival site at 6 p.m.

“We are excited to offer these new ways for the community to support the annual 4th of July Fireworks Show,” said Sheila Bishop, spokes person for the Fireworks Trust Fund.
