Frances Fulcher recently released Amazing Grace and the Wishing Tree, a children’s book based on the life and legacy of her daughter, Grace Fulcher, who died from pediatric brain cancer eight years ago. The story is intended to offer hope, faith, and encouragement to children and families facing cancer.

The book follows Amazing Grace and her brother, Mighty Maxx, as they discover a wishing tree whose colorful ribbons carry prayers, dreams, and wishes to Heaven. As Grace undergoes cancer treatment, family members, friends, medical professionals, and fellow patients gather beneath the tree, learning that hope, love, and faith can endure even during life’s most difficult moments.

Grace Fulcher was diagnosed with the rare brain cancer anaplastic astrocytoma while in high school. According to the publisher, she completed radiation and chemotherapy treatments while graduating summa cum laude in 2017 and remained active in leadership, service, and faith-based organizations. Her music, faith, and positive outlook inspired many people throughout her life.
