Meet the 2022 Mac & Cheese Festival cook teams

DESTIN, Fla. — The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast has announced the participating cook teams taking part in Sunday’s 2022 Mac & Cheese Festival at Destin Commons.

The 2022 Mac & Cheese Festival cook teams include Smoke ‘n Whisky, Café Rico, From the Crown Catering, I Cook You Eat, Jackacudas Seafood and Sushi, Miller’s Ale House, Emerlad Coast Vibe, The Chew Chew Truck, Ocean City Wright Fire Control District, SunPro, That’s What Cheese Said, and Thai To Go.

A family-friendly event, the 4th Annual Mac & Cheese Festival features gourmet, chef-inspired twists on the South’s favorite comfort food.

The cook teams will bring their best macaroni masterpieces to compete for the best mac and cheese in town.

There are three categories that each local restaurant can win in total: Judge’s Choice Award, People’s Choice Award, and Kid’s Choice Award.

Visitors are invited to taste each delicious vendor and cast their vote — all the while supporting a charitable cause.

Tickets are now on sale here.

$45 for V.I.C.

$25 for adults

$15 for kids (5-16 years old)

V.I.C. (Very Important Cheese) tickets include 1 beverage ticket and a t-shirt

All proceeds from this event will go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast, which works in our community to promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence through its programs focused on academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles.
