NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health on Friday reported 17 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County. There are two new cases in Niceville and Valparaiso.
The FDOH reports 471 vaccinations were administered in Okaloosa County the previous day. The cumulative number of people vaccinated in Okaloosa is 62,049. The number of people who have completed the vaccination series in Okaloosa is 48,508, according to FDOH data.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa is 20,566.
The FDOH reports the total number of people killed by COVID-19 in Okaloosa is 362, no change since the previous report.
Statewide, 4,165 new cases were reported by the FDOH. The current cumulative total is 2,262,598 The total number of Florida residents who have died from COVID-19 in the state is 35,635.
The cumulative number of hospitalizations in Okaloosa is 739, no change since the previous day. Currently, there are 15 COVID-19 patients in Okaloosa County hospitals.
