NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health on Sunday reported 22 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County. There are five new cases in Niceville and Valparaiso.
The FDOH reports 118 vaccinations were administered in Okaloosa County the previous day. The cumulative number of people vaccinated in Okaloosa is 40,564. The number of people who have completed the vaccination series in Okaloosa is 26,883, according to FDOH data.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa is 19,704.
The FDOH reports the total number of people killed by COVID-19 in Okaloosa is 348, no change since the previous report.
Statewide, 5,883 new cases were reported by the FDOH. The current cumulative total is 2,039,062 The total number of Florida residents who have died from COVID-19 in the state is 33,142.
