NICEVILLE, Fla. — Big Truck Day returns to Niceville this Saturday, April 11, giving families a chance to get up close to the city’s largest work vehicles, according to the City of Niceville.
The annual event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the softball complex parking lot behind the Niceville municipal complex.
Children and adults alike are invited to explore a variety of city vehicles, including garbage trucks, fire engines, street sweepers, and other heavy equipment used throughout the community.
The City of Niceville says the event is designed to be a fun, hands-on experience for all ages, offering a unique opportunity to see and interact with the equipment that helps keep the city running.
A special Sensory Friendly Hour is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., allowing children to climb into and explore the vehicles without flashing lights or sirens.
The event is free and open to the public.
