NICEVILLE, Fla. — A free self-defense class for women and teen girls is coming to Niceville on Saturday, July 12.
The EmpowerHER Self-Defense Class is a one-hour community event hosted by the Niceville Police Department and CD Williamson Karate. It will take place from 11 a.m. to noon at CD Williamson Karate, located at 1085 E. John Sims Parkway.
The workshop is designed to teach real-world self-defense techniques, improve situational awareness, and help participants build confidence. Organizers say the goal is to help women and girls feel safer and more prepared in their daily lives.
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable T-shirts and leggings (no shorts), and to bring a sweat towel and a water bottle. There’s no cost to attend, but registration is required and spots are limited.
Register online here.
