SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. — Costa Family McDonald’s will celebrate the grand opening of its second Santa Rosa Beach location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 10 a.m.
The first 50 customers to visit the restaurant will receive free Big Macs® for a year and a complimentary Grimace Christmas ornament as part of the festivities, Costa Family McDonald’s said.
The event, hosted in partnership with the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce, will mark the official launch of the new restaurant located at 6685 US Highway 98.
David Costa Jr., owner and operator of Costa Family McDonald’s, will be joined by local dignitaries and community leaders to commemorate the opening.
The newly constructed 3,500-square-foot restaurant was built by Stansell Properties & Development and features a spacious dining area, drive-thru, and a unique “After Hours Pick Up” zone for McDelivery couriers.
This innovative design will allow couriers to retrieve orders without waiting in the drive-thru line after the lobby closes.
Costa Family McDonald’s expects to create over 50 new jobs with the opening of this location. In keeping with their commitment to supporting local communities, the company will present checks to South Walton High School and Butler Elementary School during the ribbon cutting.
“We’re excited to expand our presence in Santa Rosa Beach and to continue supporting the schools, charities, and communities that make this area so special,” said Mr. Costa Jr.
This marks the second Santa Rosa Beach McDonald’s opened by Costa in 2024, following the debut of the first location in June.
Costa Family McDonald’s has been a part of Northwest Florida since 1994, with a longstanding tradition of community involvement, including support for local schools and charitable organizations.
