FLORIDA – An Indian River County man has pleaded guilty to distributing fentanyl that resulted in the death of the buyer.
On Feb. 20, Keyon Lewis, 27, pleaded guilty in federal court in Fort Pierce to the distribution of fentanyl, the use of which resulted in the death of another person.
As part of the plea documents filed with the court, Mr Lewis admitted that on Nov. 5, 2021, he sold fentanyl to a man in a parking lot in Vero Beach. The next day, the man’s wife found him dead on the kitchen floor of their residence.
