MARY ESTHER, Fla. – A Mary Esther man has been charged with trafficking in narcotics after investigators with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said they found drugs in his car.
According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), Nija Gamble, 32, of Cypress Street, faces three felony narcotics charges after a search warrant turned up methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine in the car he was driving.
The Volkswagen he was driving was towed to the OCSO Evidence Lot after his arrest, the OCSO said.
OCSO Investigators obtained a search warrant and said they found 31.5 grams of suspected fentanyl, 60 grams of methamphetamine, and 27 grams of cocaine inside, along with more than $3000.
The narcotics were sent to the FDLE lab to confirm the contents, the OCSO said in a statement.
Gamble, who was taken into custody in April following a bond revocation, now is now charged with trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in methamphetamine, and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, the OCSO said.
