OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. — Minimal traffic disruptions are expected this week across Okaloosa and Walton counties as construction and maintenance activities continue, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced.
OKALOOSA COUNTY
— U.S. 98 resurfacing project
Motorists will encounter shoulder closures on U.S. 98 from the Santa Rosa County line to west of Josie Road from Monday, March 23, through Thursday, March 26, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. for construction activities.
WALTON COUNTY
— U.S. 331 turn lane operation south of Madison Street
Drivers may encounter intermittent northbound outside lane closures from Sunday, March 22, through Thursday, March 26, between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. for turn lane operations.
All activities are weather-dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. According to the FDOT, drivers are urged to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through work zones.
