The Family Fun Night at the Niceville Library promises a ton of fun for families with numerous games, contests, activities, prizes, goodies, face painting, photo opportunities and more.
In addition to the Family Fun Night event, adults living in Okaloosa County can win big in the Cooperative’s 20-year Birthday Bash contest. To participate, visit at least six of the county’s libraries, get your “passport” stamped and turn in the completed passport to one of the libraries. That enters you in a random drawing for prizes such as a weekend getaway.
Here are the rules and list of contest prizes:
• Pick up a passport at one of the participating libraries at Baker (library lending machine), Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Mary Esther, Niceville, Valparaiso.
• During the month of October visit six of our seven locations, locate the birthday display and find the code word. Tell the code word to library staff to have your passport stamped. At the library lending machine in Baker, you can stamp your own passport (stamp is in Info Box on side of machine) or have it stamped inside the museum.
• Turn in the completed passport (must have at least six different stamps from six different library locations) not later than 31 October 2017.
• Prizes: Grand prize package includes 2-night vacation rental from ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals; 18 holes of golf for 4 at the Fort Walton Beach Golf Club; 2 chiropractic sessions from White Sands Chiropractic Clinic, attraction tickets and more. Grand Prize package is valued at approximately $1400. Three additional prize packages are valued at over $500 each.
